About Trader's Depot
"A different kind
of shopping experience"
Traders Depot was started by Hank Richardson in November 2007, the
store was opened February of 2008 with 50 vendors and the store has
grown to over 150 vendors occupying 215 booths as of May 2009. The
name was created by using two key words "Traders" for trading items etc
"Depot" a destination for trading. The store itself has a long history
in Richmond having held various retail establishments such as.... Mr.
Wiggs and Roberds furniture. The facility is 60,000 sq. feet and is
carpeted throughout.
Hank, the founder, has been a longtime resident of the Richmond area having had a long career in commercial and residential real-estate. Traders Depot is a multi-vendor retail location. When full we will house almost 275 vendors and consigners offering hundreds of thousands of unique items, goods and services. There is a constant flow of new vendors and merchandise added weekly, creating virtually a new shopping experience every time you visit.
Traders Depot Auction has added weekly excitement for our customers and vendors having sold various consignment goods, boats, golf carts and collectables.
Traders Depot's goal is to operate 30 such stores throughout Indiana and Ohio within the next 5 years..... Richmond is providing for us a test market in which to grow this venture into a much bigger operation.
